Last night Brady and I gave our Asterisk Presentation at CPLUG (slides).

Overall, I think the presentation went pretty well, even if there was a lot of talking and not as much demoing as we would have liked. People had a decent amount of questions at the end that showed they were definitely interested in the subject.

If we did it again we might just focus on configuring Asterisk for various people's setups. If we had better Internet access it would probably have worked out better for demos, but I think we showed that Asterisk can be configured fairly easily just to get a couple SIP clients and IAX connections setup so you can replace Vonage or your home phone.
