Trans-Siberian Orchestra in Hershey, PA

On Sunday, a group to see the Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Giant Center in Hershey. Traveling along was Tiffany (Jocelyn stayed with out neighbors for the evening), Tiff's mom and dad, her sister and friend, and her brother and fiancé.

The show ended up being amazing. I wasn't expecting all the lighting effects and their use of movement of the various lighting rigs. It was disappointing that the crowd didn't really seem to be "into it," but I guess that's what you get for a Sunday afternoon crowd.

The show lasted about 2.5 hours, and was much longer than I expected. And they had another show to do that evening. We were seated in the back on the floor, so we could see all of the stage fairly well, but there were times that it was difficult to see the performers over the heads. That made it especially enjoyable the several times some of the performers came back to the back of the arena on a mini-stage to perform.

I would definitely recommend checking out the Trans-Siberian Orchestra if they come to your area. I was a bit hesitant about the price of tickets at first, but it was definitely worth it.
