My time at Express Dynamics working on the WorkXpress engine is coming to a close. Friday I gave my notice that I will be leaving the company.

I've decided to begin doing my own consulting/contract work as systems administrator/network administrator/solutions architect/information architect. To that end I've accepted a position at Mozdev as

Web Application Developer/Systems Administrator. For now this is a one-year contract, but it has the opportunity to extend beyond that if the funding can be found.

I think this will also allow me more time to work on other projects I've had in mind as well as provide a great opportunity to give back to the open source community.

I'm looking forward to the new challenges with a little trepidation, but I'm fairly confident that this is where God wants me to be. I also believe this will give me more opportunities to be with my new family and make sure they get the time they deserve from me.
