My bike has been in my Dad's shed for quite awhile now. Quite awhile. I think it's time for me to get it out and use it a bit.

The first thing it's gonna need are tires and tubes. I remember that getting them isn't a great deal of fun from last time I did it (wrecked the bike twice in my life; once in '92 and once in '93) - both times required getting a new rim and tire which took awhile and cost a lot.

The reason? I've got a very odd tire size which is used mostly in France - 26 x 1 1/2" (not 26 x 1.5") - they're more commonly called ISO/E.T.R.T.O. 584mm or 650B.

I managed to find some information on a Rivendell project page, and some tires over at Harris Cycling. I think I'm going to purchase the tires and tubes from Bikeman though, as they appear to have good prices. Now I just need a good LED bike-mount light and a GPS mount for my eTrex..
