Tiff was looking up ways to control dogs that are getting into chewing on people, and found that if you just say 'Ow' (like you mean it), the dog will typically stop and try to make up with you.
Tiff used this tactic last night and I was able to use it this morning, and it seemed to work very well. Even when I was playing with Patches and trying to pull the ball out of her mouth; if she accidentally caught my hand, I'd say 'Ow,' and she'd let go. If she did it again and I acted like I was hurt, she'd try to lick my hand to make up. Hopefully this will at least break her of the habit of chewing on humans, anyway.
