My in-laws, Tiff, Brady and I went camping at Cowan's Gap this weekend. Despite being very cold, the campground and facilities were quite good. Brady and I spent the time hiking up to an overlook on one side of the valley one day, then up a "Three Mile Trail" the other (wasn't quite three miles). It was a really good weekend and a good chance to try out the pop-up. The heater works very well ;-).

Like Brady said, there were a couple campfire-related incidents, although he's being a little modest. I almost caught him on fire with a piece of wood that I was using to try to pry a log up on the fire which then flew directly at him, hitting him in the upper chest. Not so good. The other incident involved boots on hot rocks - always funny.
