Apparently upgrading from CentOS 4.4 to 5 isn't as easy as updating the centos-release package and typing `yum upgrade`. This is unfortunate, as the computers that I have running CentOS are typically the ones I like to have a high uptime, so this means I need to take them down to run Anaconda. I guess that's just the way it goes this upgrade cycle (same for Fedora 7).

Why not just go to CentOS4.5? That's what "Enterprise Linux" is all about, innit? Or maybe the 5 upgrade's problems are the reason 4.5 has come out...
Actually, I have updated the servers that were running CentOS 4.4 to 4.5 when it came out last week, but there is one server in particular that I wanted newer packages than what is currently provided by CentOS 4.x. In this regard, Fedora is *too* upgrade-happy for me, but typically I want the next RHEL when it's available.
